Rafael was searching for the right profession and his love of cars led him to explore a business in auto sales. He got he’s Brokers license and started small just to see if he liked it. After running his restaurant, Los Amigos in West Sacramento, for a couple of years he realized it was too many hours in that business. However, he was enjoying the side car business and he liked helping customers find the right car. After trying several different locations he finally settled on Franklin Blvd and in 1991 opened up Quality Motors. It was challenging to start a new business so later his son, Rafael Jr. joined him and helps in the family business.
Rafael has been a soccer player all his life. It is his hobby and his passion. He played in many Sacramento teams such as Luis’s and Jalisco. He also played in Central California Sacramento All Star Team and Sacramento Senators. In 1975 he played with the U.S.A. Olympic Team, but was unable to go to the Olympics with the team, because his citizenship process was not completed. His talent was well recognized and he was recruited to play professional soccer. Starting in 1976 he played with the Sacramento Spirits and Sacramento Goals Professional teams, for five seasons.
Rafael has made many friendships along the way and this has helped him build a successful business. He enjoys helping his customers find a car that suits them. Many customers come back and refer him to family and friends. He takes pride in providing good customer service and looks forward to helping you find your next car, truck, SUV, motorcycle, boat or RV.
